2010 Fitness Gram Testing
The month of April brings physical fitness testing to Starr King! Students have been working hard to pass the 6 parts of the test
1) aerobic capacity, Pacer test, mile
2) body composition, Body Mass Index, height and weight
3) flexibility, shoulder stretch, sit and reach
4 & 5) There are 2 parts! muscular strength, curl ups and trunk lift
6) muscular endurance, ie. push ups
Results from this test will be in 5th and 7th graders 3rd trimester report card. All students 4th-8th graders practice fitness. Keep up the good work!
